Mikey Foster Estes is an artist whose practice is rooted in the everyday and spans performance, photography, sculpture, video, and writing. His work has been exhibited at numerous venues in Phoenix, including Eye Lounge, Fine Art Complex 1101, Mood Room, and Northlight Gallery. In addition to showing locally, his work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. In 2020, he presented “Living Room,” a live-streamed performance developed for a series of events organized by nueBOX. His writing on art has appeared in Phoenix New Times and Java Magazine.
